DMCA & Abuse Reporting

ShrinkForge is a URL-shortening platform. We do not host the content our users link to; we only store shortened URLs that redirect to third-party sites. If a short link points to material that infringes your rights or violates law/policy, we can disable or remove the shortened URL. For content hosted on other websites, please also contact the site’s hosting provider.

How to Send a Valid DMCA Notice

Send your notice to: [email protected]

Your DMCA notice must include all of the following:

  • Your full name, company (if applicable), mailing address, email, and phone number.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (list multiple works if needed).
  • Full destination URL(s) of the allegedly infringing content (the page hosting the content), and the ShrinkForge short URL(s) that point to it.
  • A statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable).

We generally review and act on complete notices within 24–48 hours (business days). Incomplete notices may be rejected or delayed.

Reporting Phishing, Malware, or Abuse

To report malicious or policy-violating content (phishing, malware, scams, threats), email [email protected] with:

  • The ShrinkForge short URL(s)
  • Destination URL(s)
  • Brief description and any evidence (screenshots, headers, etc.)

Counter-Notice (If Your Link Was Disabled)

If you believe your short URL was disabled due to a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to [email protected], including:

  • Your full name, address, email, and phone number.
  • The disabled ShrinkForge short URL(s) and corresponding destination URL(s).
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
  • Your consent to the jurisdiction of courts in your district (or where ShrinkForge is located) and acceptance of service from the original claimant.
  • Your physical or electronic signature (full legal name).

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the short URL after following the DMCA process, unless the original claimant files an action seeking a court order.

Repeat Infringers

Consistent with the DMCA, we may terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe the rights of others or repeatedly violate our Terms.
